“A couple weekends ago, I was traveling alone and landed at the bus station in Boulder at 4am. I met a sweet homeless man who asked if there was any way he could “earn” some food from me. I was about to hop on the bus. I had no cash, but I did have my own breakfast with me: a banana and a Larabar. So, without hesitation, I gave him my own breakfast. Even if I was hungry for a bit, it wouldn’t be long. I was happy to help him with a meal.”
