Play: Hit the Penny (Source)

What You Need: 2-3 foot long stick, pennies, piece of chalk

How to Play:

  1. Bury the bottom of the stick in the ground so that it is standing upright.
  2. Draw a circle around the stick about 3 feet in diameter.
  3. Place a penny on top of the stick.
  4. Give each player a penny. Players take turns throwing their penny at the stick to try to knock of the penny on top of the stick. Players earn a point if they knock the penny out of the circle, but do not earn points if the penny falls within the circle.
