These are our favorite, tried-and-true travel gear and home life items that have stood the test of time. With 8 people in our home or when we travel, we try to only purchase items that are really worth their cost (and their travel weight). I hope this helps you, too!

REI’s biggest sale of the year is an amazing time to pick up some high quality gear at an affordable price. Below are some favorite items on big sale. My beloved Dime clean skincare is a huge 30% off for Memorial Day with the code LOCALPASSPORTFAMILY. I especially love the blue facial oil – it keeps my skin super clear and moisturized, especially when traveling. I also really love the dewy day cream, and my teens love the jelly cleanser. Get Healthy U – One Year of Workout Classes for $0.50

I’ve been using these workout videos for years and I love how easy it is. You can filter by type of workout or length and it’s just so simple to have an easy option at home. It is absolutely WILD that you can get a year of access to classes for only 50 cents. It’ll initially show the $0.75 summer promo, but a pop up should come up a few seconds in that gives it to you for only $0.50.

You can also turn off auto renew with just a few clicks (click on your initials in the top right, then on membership and it’ll show the option to not auto renew)! Seriously no catch and it’s awesome.

Boden – 25% off sitewide with code 7N7G

I love the Boden style both for me and for my girls but it’s a bit pricey normally. But they currently have some huge discounts. All my favorite dresses are from here! I got this one a few months ago and have worn it nonstop – it’s been my go-to for several trips, too, because it’s super comfy and cute but also modest for churches and other religious sites. (I also love that Boden has tall and petite sizes – I have a really short torso so always need petite dresses!)

Brooklinen – 25% Off Sitewide

Brooklinen makes our favorite sheets/duvet sets. Dan and I have these on our bed and they’re truly the best sheets we’ve ever used (and we’ve tried quite a few). They’re super well made and high end without being astronomically priced, and I love the story of how this husband-and-wife team got their business started.

I’ve talked many times before about how much we love our Beddy’s zip up bedding. I will honestly never again do bunk beds without these – they make life so much easier. We really love the Gabb phone and watches to be in touch with our kids when necessary and helpful, but while not providing them a bunch of access they don’t need. Sunski – Sustainable, Outdoor Adventure Sunglasses – 25% Off Select Items

I got a pair of Sunski sunglasses last year and have loved them. I have a fairly narrow face and have never in my life been able to find sunglasses that don’t slide off my face constantly.

One Year of Craft Classes for $1.49

We’ve had a Craftsy subscription for about 3 years and it’s so awesome. There are soooo many different options for online classes for adults & kids – drawing, painting, sewing, cake decorating, paper airplane making, yoga, and so much more. I love having this in my pocket for school holidays or rainy days. Definitely worth less than a dollar to have the option!

H&M – up to 50% off

H&M is my go-to for my kids’ clothes. The Euro cuts work much better on my narrow kiddos, and I like that they have a “conscious” line, as well, and have times when you can bring old clothes to recycle. They rarely have sitewide sales, so it’s a great time to pick up summer essentials or to get ready for fall and school clothes.

Backcountry

Backcountry is doing a big sale with tons of outdoor gear items included. It’s a great time to look for items for summer season or thinking ahead to cold weather. Get up to 30% off plus an extra 20% off sale items!
