Olive pants are one of my favorite staples for all seasons! (Here’s some fall travel outfit inspiration with them.) I love that the color feels earthy but more interesting than jeans, and they’re WAY more travel friendly because they’re not nearly as bulky, dry faster, and are easier to move in. They’re super versatile and go with tons of other top and shoe options, which makes them perfect for wearing several times when traveling to come up with multiple spring travel outfits.

The pair I have is super comfortable – they have some stretch, are soft, and perfect for planes, amusement parks, or walking around cities. They’re also slightly cropped, which I love for the look (and versatility across multiple seasons) and also because it means they don’t drag on the ground and get icky when traveling. I almost never pay full-price for pants but these have been worth every penny!

Here are 4 travel outfits perfect for spring and for a variety of different locations. I’m wearing the same jewelry – a simple necklace and my favorite super comfy and lightweight earrings that don’t tarnish – in all of the outfits because they’re my very faves for travel (and home, honestly). I’d love to hear some travel outfit formulas you love, too!

TRAVEL DAY: Olive Pants + Long-Sleeved Henley Top + Chunky Cardigan + White Sneakers

This is a go-to outfit for me for travel days! It’s versatile for airplanes that can run cool or warm, is super comfortable, and is a step above wearing sweats through the airport. This top is so soft and comfy, and also has functional buttons (great for breastfeeding if needed). The cardigan is my very favorite because it’s super comfy but is also chic and looks good with absolutely everything. And the earrings are so comfortable and lightweight that I literally do not notice them (even with sensitive ears).

My belt bag is sadly no longer sold, but I’ve linked a similar one that is roomy and also includes a folding changing pad (like mine).

DAYTIME EXPLORING (WARMER): Olive Pants + Neutral But Interesting Top + White Sneakers

I love a neutral but interesting top – this cream colored one with front ties and a v-neck is perfect. It’s simple and casual, pairs with a variety of bottoms, but is still pretty. (A lightweight denim top would also work great for this – linking one I really like below.) The sling bag is cute and functional. I also have had a pair of these sandals for nearly two decades – they’re cute, comfy (though not tons of support if you need that), and waterproof (so great if you head to the beach or pool).

DAYTIME EXPLORING (COOLER): Olive Pants + Striped Tee + Quilted Jacket

A tee & cropped pants are a great transition to go from warmer to cooler weather, and stripes are always classic. I love that the quilted jacket is super soft and comfy – perfect for plane or car rides.

EVENING: Olive Pants + Nicer Top + Loafers

This is a perfect look for something just a bit nicer for dinner or a show while still using pieces that are versatile enough to wear during the day – I hate packing items that are single-use. My top is old, but I’ve linked a few other pretty tops that would work great.

This key & card wristlet is also my FAVE – it’s so small but so functional. My cards & ID all fit in the pouch, including any public transport cards. I also have access to any keys I need. Perfect when running around while traveling!
