Olive pants are one of my favorite staples for all seasons, but they’re especially great in the fall. I love that the color feels earthy but more interesting than jeans, and they’re WAY more travel friendly. They’re super versatile and go with tons of other top and shoe options, which makes them perfect for wearing several times when traveling to come up with multiple fall travel outfits.

The pair I have is super comfortable – they have some stretch, are soft, and perfect for planes, amusement parks, or walking around cities. They’re also slightly cropped, which I love for the look and also because it means they don’t drag on the ground and get icky when traveling.I almost never pay full-price for pants but these have been worth every penny!

Here are 5 travel outfits perfect for the fall and for a variety of different locations. I’d love to hear some travel outfit formulas you love, too!

Olive Pants + Long-Sleeved Patterned Top + Denim Jacket + White Sneakers

This is a go-to outfit for me whether traveling or not! It’s versatile for those days that waffle between being warm and cool, and it looks and feels effortless but still just a touch elevated. I love that this top reads white so looks fresh, but has a print to hide dirt. The material also washes well the puffed sleeves are super cute to wear it on its own without the jacket.

The belt bag is super versatile and holds WAY more than you’d expect – it even has a fold out diaper changing pad and wipes pocket built in if you’re exploring with little ones.

Olive Pants + Plaid Button-Down Top + Loafers

I always love a plaid top for flannel! A lightweight cotton is great in warmer weather, or flannel is perfect for chillier days. Button downs are so flexible for breastfeeding and just give a nice structure; while I love collared ones, it’s nice to change it up with a collarless one sometimes. I especially like collarless ones for travel as it feels less stuffy to me. The loafers keep the whole outfit looking one step above casual, which goes well with the tucked button top.

This key & card wristlet is also my FAVE – it’s so small but so functional. My cards & ID all fit in the pouch, including any public transport cards. I also have access to any keys I need. Perfect when running around while traveling!

Olive Pants + Mustard Wool Pullover + White Sneakers

I love the mix of fallish colors in this outfit – mustard yellow and olive green are so good together. The white sneakers keeps it looking fresh and not too too earthy, and the sling bag is cute and functional.

Olive Pants + Striped Tee + Quilted Jacket + Neutral Scarf + Ankle Boots

A tee & cropped pants are a great transition to go from warmer to cooler weather! I love that the quilted jacket is super soft and comfy – perfect for plane or car rides. The ankle boots again are versatile and make a great piece to go with lots of different travel outfits. A scarf adds some interest to a fairly basic outfit, but the low-profile wristlet keeps it from getting too bulky.

Olive Pants + Bright Printed Pullover + Key/Card Wristlet

This is another great outfit for early fall when it’s not cold yet. I love a printed sweater and a lightweight one is perfect for the early fall days that aren’t quite cool enough for a big chunky sweater. A loosely knit one is great for letting in air, and the lighter weight of the sleeves makes it easy to tie around your shoulders if it gets warm. And I love the still-summery colors!

The bag is still perfect and again the white shoes keep the outfit from getting heavy and have the same late-summer/early-autumn vibe as the sweater.
