We much prefer headlamps to flashlights for camping! They tend to be very bright, have multiple settings (and colors), and leaves hands free. These have been great for us.
It’s also nice having a camping lantern for inside the tent! We sometimes hook it onto the hook in the middle at the top to provide a light to the whole area.
