A friend gave our 6 year old an explorer set for his 5th birthday, and he’s used it into the ground since then. He’s used it in the backyard, taken it on walks and hikes, and done imaginary play. It’s so fun.
His had gotten a bit worn with some missing and broken pieces, so he decided to use the money he’d earned from our family economy system to buy himself a new explorer set. He could not be more excited and proud! He’s already used it for hours since he got it and is so excited to learn more about the world around him.
