We’ve had the Planetbox lunchboxes for YEARS (probably 6-7) and they’re still in perfect condition. I vastly prefer stainless steel lunchboxes for health, ease of cleaning, and eco-friendliness/durability, and these are terrific. Ours are still in perfect condition!
Still, my one gripe with them has always been that they’re not leakproof, either to the outside or between the sections. We tried out another kind of stainless bento-style box but the plastic lid warped multiple times. My daughter especially prefers leakproof sections so food doesn’t get soggy and stays fresh, so I recently purchased this stainless steel leakproof lunchbox. It has a silicone lid that seems much sturdier and it’s a great size for school lunch – not too big and not too small. I’m really pleased with it so far!
Finally, my preschooler’s school provides a snack for him each day this year, but in the past, my little kiddos have taken this stainless steel snack box. It’s the perfect size and I love the little compartments!
