I’m NOT an artsy person. In general, words and numbers come much more naturally to me than anything crafty. But doing a hand lettering printable somehow feels so soothing.
My friend Lisa at Hand Lettered Design is such an amazing talent. She creates all kinds of beautiful printables and even leads wonderful online courses on hand lettering.
She’s graciously created a beautiful “Stay Curious” printable for friends of Local Passport Family – for FREE! Especially during a time when many of us are staying close to home, it’s a perfect reminder to stay interested and engaged. Even when we’re not venturing far from our homes, we can still be curious about the world and people around us.
Since I don’t do a ton of lettering, I often just use normal markers for some faux calligraphy. These Duo Tip markers with 48 colors are a great value with lots of beautiful and vibrant colors. Otherwise, these brush pens are gorgeous and so nice to use.
I hope it’s a wonderful way for adults and kids alike to connect, be calm, and be curious!
