It’s been a little while since I’ve shared some favorite things. Here are a few things I’ve been loving lately!

Sam Edelman Slide Sandals

I’ve always been a giant fan of my Saltwater sandals, but this summer, I was hoping for a pair that could dress up a bit. PLUS, I really wanted a pair that I could slip on easily without having to bed over for a strap (hello, giant pregnant belly).

There are so many slide options available right now, but a lot of them are a bit bulky or wide or look a little too beachy. I love that this pair has a pretty and feminine profile and work with everything from a swimsuit to a church dress. They’re super comfortable and while they come in lots of colors, my favorite is the simple saddle leather. They look like some of the really pricey designer sandals but are much less expensive. I’m a giant fan!

Ricola Cough Drops

This one is top of mind due to our recent bout with the virus that shall not be named, but these have been my favorite cough drops for years and years. They don’t have a weird aftertaste or make your mouth feel all dry, and the natural herbs actually work to soothe coughs. I’m a big fan. I usually get the original, but also love the honey. You can also get them on Amazon.

Rumpl Everywhere Mat

We’ve been doing lots of picnics lately and this mat is perfect for them. I love that it’s waterproof on the underside, packs up SO small (way smaller than any other mat we’ve thrown in the car), and washes easily. Big fan of this one and it’s definitely become a summer staple that’s small enough to throw in a backpack.

Old Navy Maternity Activewear

Old Navy has majorly stepped up their game in a lot of areas, including maternity. I was searching high and low for some maternity active leggings that weren’t just plain navy or black, and that had POCKETS (an essential in my book). I spotted these leggings on Old Navy’s website and figured I’d give them a shot. Turns out they fit perfectly and the full panel is extremely comfortable. And they’re SO cute in person – the print is so so pretty. I ended up getting two pairs because I liked them so much and couldn’t decide between the prints (the floral and the watercolor). Both are currently on sale for under $13!

When purchasing the leggings, I also threw this long-sleeved mesh-back top into my cart. It was the type of thing where I liked the color and it looked reasonably comfy, but thought I’d likely return it. Wow, was I wrong! It is SO comfortable and I loved wearing it to hike in Yosemite. It’s super soft and very lightweight, and also breathes super easily. It’s amazing for being active while pregnant.

Sunski Sunglasses

I’ve looked for years for a narrower pair of sunglasses that will actually fit my face without sliding off, and I finally found some! I love this pretty pair, most of all because I can move around and – shocker – even look down without them slipping down my nose. It thrills me more than it probably should.

Compressed Fleece Zip Up

Okay, I’m cheating this month and adding a 6th because I’ve just really loved it recently. I’ve always tended to just wear an old sweatshirt when hiking in cooler temps, but I got this zip up recently for layering on our Alaska trip and I LOVE it. It’s made of compressed fleece, so it’s better for the environment (doesn’t shed!), and it’s super warm. I love how stretchy it is and it works great over my belly, and the zipper pockets and thumb holes are super convenient. I’m just all around a big fan of it and it’s going to be the perfect top or mid layer for Alaska.
