I always love looking back to see the most popular blog posts of the year. It’s so fun seeing what you all have enjoyed and found helpful both from home and when traveling! It also helps me see what content will be most useful to you in the new year – please know that I do look at this info and each time you visit my blog, I truly appreciate it and it let me know how I can better serve you.

The last couple of years have been strange in the blogging world – there have been some significant algorithm changes and with AI, it’s taken a LOT of traffic away from blogs. Essentially, AI is scraping information that creators have put so much hard work into putting in blog posts, and just summarizing them to give the info to the viewer. This means that our pages get much less traffic, which means a fraction of the ad revenue and affiliate income. I know I personally really appreciate personal experiences, opinions, and insights, and really hope my favorite bloggers continue to write and share.
In order for that to be sustainable for me and for others (and keep content FREE to you as a viewer, instead of putting it behind a paywall), here are a few basic things we can do (most of which are totally free to you!):
- Don’t just read the AI summary at the top of a web search. Scroll down and actually click through to blogs to read. This may mean scrolling to the bottom of page 1, or even pages 2 & 3, to find great, personal content to click through to read.
- Directly visit blogs – go to the sites of your favorite creators and peruse their content.
- Of course be thoughtful in your purchases, and if you do make one, see if you can find (or ask for!) an affiliate link from a creator.
- Send blogs/social media accounts of your favorite creators to your family & friends.
This truly means so much to me and all creators!
For now, I’m excited to share the 10 most popular posts from 2025 so you can see what others are loving. Have you read all of these blog posts? Which ones were helpful to you?
