I love being able to share a few things that have been enjoyable, fun, or helpful to me over the month. Here are some things I’ve been loving this month, as well as some other Favorite Things I’ve shared!

Geometry Towel

I had heard about these towels for years but could never bite the bullet because they’re definitely pricier than the average Target hand towel. But when they had a big sale, I decided to try one out to see if it was actually worth the price, figuring there was no way I would think so.

Well color me wrong because I’m obsessed with this dang kitchen tea towel. It’s so soft, absorbent, thick, and I love the size. So now I’m the sucker who will be paying full price to slowly switch out all my towels and I won’t regret it one bit.

3-in-1 Travel Charger

I got this 3-in-1 travel charger a few months ago and while I was skeptical at first, I’m a convert. This little folding pad charges my phone, watch, and AirPods, and is so convenient to pack along – I love that it folds up and is so compact. I’m a fan.

Basque Cheesecake

I had heard about La Maritxu and their amazing cheesecake a couple months ago and decided to give it a whirl recently. While I’ve always super loved my mom’s cheesecake and it’s one of my favorite desserts, I’m picky with other cheesecake. I don’t tend to like NY style – it’s too dense and cream cheese-y for me. I much prefer a less sweet, creamer, looser cheesecake. I’d never had Basque-style cheesecake before, but holy smokes did this deliver.

Let’s just say I’ve been a little obsessed and despite not really being a sweets person, I’ve never eaten so much dessert in my life, lol. If you haven’t tried Basque cheesecake, either, might I suggest you look some up in your area (or come visit London and I’ll meet you there ;)).

Boba Air Carrier

I’ve had one of these lightweight carriers for over a decade and after all that time and extensive use, the buckle finally came undone. So I immediately purchased a new one and honestly regret not doing it sooner because the new version is vastly improved. While the old version was super convenient for packing, it didn’t feel nearly as supportive of comfortable as a regular carrier. So it always felt like quite the trade off, but was worth it when we wouldn’t be using it tons because it could pack up small, or if it was at risk of getting wet because it dries so fast.

The new version has all those advantages but is SO much more comfortable and supportive. The shoulder straps are padded but still sleek and the whole thing feels sturdier. I can easily wear it for extended periods but live that it’s still just as packable (and affordable!) as the original.

Victorinox Knives

I’ve been a devotee to my Henckels chef’s knife for over a decade and still love and use it daily – it was one of 3 knives I brought over to London from the US, along with a couple favorite Cutco knives. But I needed a few others for basic tasks, especially since I hadn’t brought along a small serrated knife, a paring knife, or a bread knife.

I’d heard glowy things about the Victorinox knives and they’re relatively quite inexpensive so I decided to give them a shot. Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical, especially for the price. Let’s just say my expectations were blown out of the water. They are SO sharp, sturdy but lightweight, and cut amazingly well. The bread knife is easily as good as (if not better than) my Cutco knife from back home. It’s honestly SO nice to not have to saw through a loaf of bread with either a dull or too-small knife!

I got and love this classic 3-knife set as well as a bread knife.

What’s something you’ve been loving this month? I’d love to hear!
