Black Friday 2025 Purchases I'm Actually Making

Instead of doing a ton of Christmas present shopping, I tend to use Black Friday mostly as an opportunity to stock up on my favorite consumable items (like skincare). I love getting items I use every day for a much lower price!

Here are some things I’m purchasing this year (or purchased already in early Black Friday sales) – items I’ve been waiting for to go on sale either as a stock up item, or a few items I’ve had on my list and have been waiting for a sale.

About 90 seconds after it arrived, I hopped online to see if their sale was still going – it was, so I promptly ordered enough to replace every single one of my kitchen towels. Ha! I never thought I’d be waxing poetic about kitchen towels, but here we are. They’re super absorbent (I love the ribbed texture), have the cutest prints, an dry fast/don’t get stinky. I first tried this magic witchcraft facial oil last year when I had a singular zit – my first in a very long time since my oil cleanser is so amazing. When it appeared, I put on this blue facial oil at night and it was gone by morning. And then it happened a second time. I don’t know what sorcery they use for this stuff, but it’s a great item to have on hand, especially if you’re acne-prone. And I love that the whole line is clean beauty! They hyaleuronic acid serum is also fantastic and I use it every morning before putting on moisturizer.

I’ve used this lightweight foundation for years and it’s the best. Super light but covers great while not looking cakey at all. Great price on it!

Bubbsi Coconut Oil Balm

I’ve waxed poetic about how I’m obsessed with this coconut oil balm for my babies and even myself. So moisturizing, smells amazing, and super gentle. Plus, it’s an Indian American woman-owned small business!

Madewell – 40% Off Sitewide!

I’ve been anxiously waiting for Madewell to go on sale. I’ve been needing new jeans after passing along several postpartum pairs and Madewell has been my fave for over a decade. The entire site is 50% off, which is huge.

Affordable Kids’ Wool Socks

Multiple of my kids need a refresh of socks from getting worn or losing some. We really love these and they’ve lasted maybe even better than our expensive brand name ones. So cozy, soft, stretchy, and warm. Great to put in stockings, or to split between a few kids! I also got these.

Ouai Detox Shampoo Refill

This is my very favorite shampoo that gets my hair squeaky clean and helps me go 10+ days in between washes. I stock up on the big refills when it goes on sale!

I used to love playing this game ages ago before kids, so I grabbed it when it was on sale for a family Christmas gift for us to play together.

Tarte Tubing Mascara

I’ve been hearing amazing things about this mascara lately so I decided to try it out while it’s on sale.

Elemis Cleansing Balm

Another thing I’ve been hearing absolutely rave reviews about for ages. I’ve been wanting to try a double cleanse with my beloved oil cleanser, and this one seems really hydrating for removing makeup and such. I’m excited to try it!

Glow Art LED Drawing Board

I’ve had this LED glow drawing board on my “possible gift” list for nearly two years and it finally felt like time – except not for Christmas because I already bought 5yo M this karaoke machine months ago, haha. But her birthday is coming up next month and I think my little girl who is constantly drawing will love this!
