I love seeing what other people are loving and find useful. It will never not be fascinating to me to hear that someone really loves a certain pen or pair of nail clippers or charging cord. So I thought it would be fun to round up some things I’ve been loving this year!

Would any of these make your favorites list? If not, what would be on there?

My Favorite Products of 2020

The RV

I mean, would this list be complete without putting the RV on here? I’ve surprised no one more than myself with how much I’ve truly loved and appreciated it this year.

Boondocking with kids

Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil

I’ve been using this facial oil for almost a year now and I love it so much. It is so hydrating and still light, and it smells amazing. Because I have pretty dry skin, I always apply it over moisturizer to lock in extra moisture, but you can also use it on its own for more subtle hydration and a beautiful glow.

The Softest Blanket

I’ve owned quite a few blankets over the years so I did NOT think I needed another. But I got this blanket in my FabFitFun box this year and holy cow, since the second it arrived, I’ve been obsessed with how ridiculously soft it is. I’ve since ordered 3 more because I love them so much – one for our bedroom, one in the RV, one for Dan when we’re sitting on the couch so I don’t have to share mine. 😉

Ecco Casual Sneakers

I purchased these shoes full price because I wanted a pair that would go with almost anything, would be super durable, and would be crazy comfortable both for travel and for everyday. And I have not regretted that purchase for one single second.

They’re quite possibly the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn in my life, and check every one of my boxes. I love them SO dang much. I always wear them with these no show socks, which are the best in the world and never slip down.

Guittard Bittersweet Chocolate Chips

I tend to be picky about sweets, including when it comes to chocolate chips. This is my favorite kind by a mile. Perfectly bittersweet and the best quality (I prefer these to the Ghirardelli, too), I love them for making my favorite hot cocoa, on vanilla ice cream, for chocolate chip cookies, or for, ahem, snacking. I personally prefer this dark kind, but most people I know prefer the semisweet or the milk chocolate.

Jewelry Cleaning Pen

This jewelry cleaning pen is one of those things I purchased ages ago and then forgot to ever use. I pulled it out a little while ago and holy cow. I was blown away by how well it works! I don’t have tons of jewelry, but I had several pairs of earrings that I thought were toast that this totally revived. And my wedding rings have never been sparklier.

Leather-Look Apple Watch Strap

I’m not one to be super into tech-y gadgets, but I do love my Apple Watch. (Not least for its ability to ping my phone, which I’m constantly misplacing.) I’ve never cared for the straps that come with the watches, but I LOVE my leather-look strap. It stays on securely and looks so much better.

Glossier You Fragrance

I got a sample of this fragrance when I was ordering my favorite creamy and subtle and sheer blush (perhaps this should be the favorite thing instead?). I tried it and immediately loved it, which is a hard sell with fragrances! I love that it’s not overpowering at all, and mostly smells like me but better.

Thousand Bike Helmet

Dan gave me this bike helmet for Christmas since my old one had bit the dust, and I’m already totally in love with it. It fits better than any helmet I’ve ever used, and looks better, too. Plus, it’s women-owned and run, which I love.

Dyson Cordless Vacuum

We’ve had this vacuum for about 3 years now, but I came to love it even more this year since we could use it in the RV. Let me tell you, it makes an enormous difference being able to quickly tidy up a small space. And I love that it’s lightweight enough for my kids to easily use it at home.

Splendor Board Game

We, like many of you, played a lot more board games this year, and this one was a definite favorite. We played it over the summer with family, and then gave it to my 10 year old for his birthday, and it’s been played nonstop since. Here are a bunch of other favorite board games!

Turkish Hand Towels

These Turkish hand towels are so cute, absorbent, and fit in perfectly in every bathroom in our house. Plus, they’re long enough that they’re not constantly falling off the rack. I love them.

H&M Sweaters

H&M truly has the best basic sweaters. They’re really decent quality for the price, and have the best cuts – often a bit cropped with fun sleeves. They’ve been perfect for this year of lounging at home a lot.

Best hot chocolate mix

Frasier Fir Candle

This candle is wildly popular, and for good reason. It’s my favorite by a mile – it smells amazing, doesn’t smell chemically, and lasts a long time. So good.

Blow Dryer Brush

I’ve been using this blow dryer brush for about 2 years and I’m still as obsessed with it today as I was when I first got it. I’ve talked about it endlessly because it really just is that amazing. It works great on my super thick hair and helps my hair last longer between washes.

Darn Tough Wool Socks

I’m a big fan of wool socks, especially for travel since they don’t need to be washed as often. I discovered this brand of wool socks this year, and I love that they’re incredible quality and also family-run. Plus, they have a lifetime warranty!

Treeline Micro Crew Cushion

Immersion Blender

An immersion blender has long been one of my most-used kitchen tools. It’s perfect for everything from making soup to whipping cream to mashing potatoes. And I love that it hardly takes up any room, which makes it great for bringing in the RV, too.

Out old one wasn’t super strong to begin with, and had gotten pretty darn weak over the last couple years. I finally purchased this one that was super highly rated and super cost efficient and I’ve been blown away by the difference. It is SO powerful! Well worth the $35.
